Yesterday my dad and I went to check out how the restoration is going on our 1971 Volkswagen Deluxe Bus "Bay Window". Normally we don't restore cars but no one restores Bay Window buses nicely or right. This one is the rare and more desirable one being that its a early year and being a deluxe. Over all I am very happy with how the restoration is going.

Pair of 15' Mustangs
If you read my last post you noticed that I went over to a couple of my friends places. After seeing my friends new Targa 4S I drove down the street where my other friend Tyler had his brothers new 2015 Mustang 5.0 GT. It was fitting to take a picture of it with my white one in the back ground. The only difference other then the color between the two cars is that mine has the 50th anniversary appearance package on it. In some ways I like the 50th package more and in other ways less. The major differences are in the front and back of the car, in the front the grill the 50th package shows much more chrome (looks like the original 1964 1/2 Mustang) where the normal 5.0 GT just has the Mustang in the grill (I like the normal 5.0 GT more in this regard). In the back the 50th package has chrome around the tail lights and has a circle in the back with the GT and 50th Anniversary in it. The normal 5.0 GT has no chrome and just has the GT on the back (I like the 50th package more from the back).
As for how the cars drive... I love them! The new Mustang is a great car all around. Its a sport car that is a blast to drive but is not a car you will get sick of driving. I live in Orange County and if I had to drive to Las Vegas in a Ferrari 458 or a Viper GTS, I would not be able to do it. Their to heavy and loud for a long drive but a Mustang is still fun to drive and is comfortable enough to take on long drives. If your in the market for a fun car you can drive everyday look no further then the 2015 Mustang. Its a great car for the money at $40,000 - $45,000 that boasts 435 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. It can do 0-60 in just 4.4 seconds and onto a quarter mile of 12.8 seconds at 112.2 mph. I personally think that the new Mustang is one of if not the best Mustang to come the since the original 1964 1/2 Mustang.

My Friends Targa 4S
Tonight I went for a drive to a couple of my best friends places to see some of their new cars. The first place I stopped at was my friend Marc who just got in a new Targa 4S. The car looks amazing and after a quick ride in it I'm sure of it. The top goes down like only a German top would go down. It looks like so much work to get just that small roof down, but thats half the fun about the car and it looks great with or without the roof on. I also love how Porsche brought back the stainless steal pillars from the classic Targas. This car has a great and unusual color on it but unfortunately its hard to see in these picture due to the light.

McLaren P1 Charging System
Yesterday I was looking at some of the car dealerships in Newport Beach including the McLaren dealership on PCH. The dealership had a used P1 in the window with less then 200 miles on it. The car was about $1.1 million new from McLaren but with this one being used the priced was $2,000,000 (most likely bought for investment)! Now I think this is a great car, it has an amazing look and the rear end is among the best of all the hyper cars but not that cool for that kind of money. Now what really bothered me was the way the cars hybrid system is charged. It looks like it was an after thought, as you can see in the picture the cable to charge the car is not flush with the the hatch that it plugs into. Then you have to put a piece of cloth around the cable to it does not scratch the paint. I understand this being the case if this was one of the very first hybrid cars but not with one today and especially not with a $2,000,000 price tag on a hyper car.
